Streetball Dunk at Sunset

The instant before the ball reaches the rim

A basketball player portrait captures the rise beside an outdoor hoop against a huge orange sun. The extended arm, bent legs and angled backboard pull the composition upward. Blue shadows in the sportswear keep the figure visible against the blazing sky and scattered clouds.

Bold color with a few precise passages

The posterlike shapes make this a medium adult project. Much of the sky is open, but the face, hands, net and sneaker edges need closer attention. Establish the player's silhouette first, then follow the net's numbered divisions. Keep the dark blue sections distinct from the surrounding orange to preserve the sense of lift.

For a flatter, posterlike result, keep the orange and blue fields even. If workable paint drags rather than flowing, test a small separate sample with acrylic paint thinner, one drop at a time, checking that the dried layer still covers the printed numbers.

For a room that needs some energy

This painting can suit a sports corner, games room or a gift for someone who spends evenings on the court. Its Pop Art treatment emphasizes the contrast between the player and the orange sky without naming a professional player or specific team.

Follow the direction of the jump

The ball sits near the highest point of the composition, while the urban skyline stays low beneath the player's body. That spacing is what makes the movement convincing. A simple hanging position with clear space above the canvas will support the same effect on a wall. The image works as a single statement piece; it does not need extra lettering or a team badge to explain the subject.

Painting and display

The streetball kit contains a 40 × 50 cm numbered canvas, acrylic paints, three brushes and a guide. Decide whether you prefer an unframed project, a DIY frame or Framed Canvas for the final sports display.

A Creative Project You Can Follow

Choose a design you enjoy and work through the printed guide at your own pace. Paint-by-numbers kits use numbered sections and matching paint colors; Dot Painting sets use printed circles and markers.

Artwork with a Personal Touch

Create the artwork yourself and enjoy the finished result as a display piece or a handmade gift. Calendars, mini sets and full-size canvases each offer a different way to paint and display your work.

Your ready-made kit includes:

• Pre-printed numbered artwork featuring the design or set shown on this page
• Matching numbered acrylic paints
• Painting brushes

See this product’s description for canvas and accessory quantities. Size and framing are supplied according to the option selected on this page.

1. Choose Your Kit

Choose the design or set shown on this page and select from the available size and framing options.

2. Set Up Your Painting Space

Unpack your numbered artwork, paints and brushes on a stable surface with good lighting. For a multi-canvas set, choose one design to begin. An adult should help children prepare the workspace and identify the matching paint numbers.

3. Paint by Number

Match each numbered section to the corresponding paint color. Work section by section, rinse your brush between colors and close paint pots when not in use.

4. Let It Dry and Display

Allow the finished artwork to dry fully. Prepare it for display using a method suitable for your selected canvas and framing option.

Choose from the Listed Sizes

The available dimensions are shown in this product’s size selector and description. Your kit is supplied in the size and framing option you select.

Paint at Your Own Pace

Completion time depends on canvas size, design detail and painting pace. Plan as many sessions as you need, and allow the finished artwork to dry fully before display.
