Butterfly Meadow Dot Set

Put the paintbrush down. Pick up a pen.

This six-piece set builds butterflies and meadow plants from black dots. Open white spaces become wing patterns and pale petals; denser marks create shadow. The finished studies have the character of small botanical ink drawings.

No palette to set out

You receive six 6 × 8 in (15 × 20 cm) printed canvases and two double-ended black pens. Follow the dot guides, working on one wing or flower at a time. There are no acrylic pots to open and no colors to mix, making it easy to return to a panel for a short session.

Let the six become a collection

Choose No Frame or Framed Canvas. Arrange the studies together, pair two on a shelf, or give a finished butterfly to someone who loves a garden.

Explore the technique in Dot Painting, the subjects in Butterfly, and more plant studies in Botanical.

White space is part of the drawing

In these studies, the unmarked areas are not simply unfinished background. Gaps between dots create the light on a wing and the separation between narrow leaves. Looking at those spaces helps you understand the image as it develops, especially when a darker patch begins to turn into a recognizable butterfly.

Small changes in density, big changes in appearance

A cluster of marks reads differently from a scattered field. That is the visual language of the set: contrast is built from black and white rather than a row of colored paints. The different wing shapes and plant stems give each panel a new arrangement to follow while keeping the overall collection consistent.

A compact project to return to

You can leave one panel in progress while displaying another that is finished. Working in small groups also lets you notice which studies you like beside each other. The shared monochrome treatment makes the set easy to combine with books, plant pots and other quiet objects on a shelf.

A Creative Project You Can Follow

Choose a design you enjoy and work through the printed guide at your own pace. Paint-by-numbers kits use numbered sections and matching paint colors; Dot Painting sets use printed circles and markers.

Artwork with a Personal Touch

Create the artwork yourself and enjoy the finished result as a display piece or a handmade gift. Calendars, mini sets and full-size canvases each offer a different way to paint and display your work.

1. Choose Your Kit

Choose the design or set shown on this page and select from the available size and framing options.

2. Set Up Your Painting Space

Unpack your numbered artwork, paints and brushes on a stable surface with good lighting. For a multi-canvas set, choose one design to begin. An adult should help children prepare the workspace and identify the matching paint numbers.

3. Paint by Number

Match each numbered section to the corresponding paint color. Work section by section, rinse your brush between colors and close paint pots when not in use.

4. Let It Dry and Display

Allow the finished artwork to dry fully. Prepare it for display using a method suitable for your selected canvas and framing option.

The available dimensions are shown in this product’s size selector and description. Your kit is supplied in the size and framing option you select.

Paint at Your Own Pace

Completion time depends on canvas size, design detail and painting pace. Plan as many sessions as you need, and allow the finished artwork to dry fully before display.
