Chickadees Snowy Berry Branch

A little gathering on a frosted perch

Three chickadees sit shoulder to shoulder, their black caps contrasting with pale cheeks and small cream-colored bodies. Scarlet berries hang below their feet. Behind the group, sweeping cobalt curves frame a luminous circle, turning a quiet perch into an energetic illustrated night.

Begin with the birds' individual outlines

Although the palette is limited, the pattern is intricate. Beaks, toes and short feather markings interrupt closely packed snow shapes. Choose this as an advanced adult project when you enjoy sustained detail. A short session on one head can be more satisfying than trying to complete every white section in a single sitting.

Winter company rather than a solitary subject

Our Birds selection includes different arrangements of recognizable species. Here the shared perch is the source of character: the subjects seem to occupy the same small shelter inside a much larger moving sky.

Red accents help you find your place

Use individual fruit clusters as landmarks, checking the adjacent twig before filling a tiny patch. Keeping a reference beside the canvas helps with repeated pale shapes. Compare other subjects in Animals, or follow the frosted setting into our Winter range.

Read the group as three separate personalities

Similar caps make it tempting to repeat identical marks. Follow each bird's own outline instead, including the direction of its gaze. Their compact spacing conveys companionship. Bright fruit appears at a much smaller scale than the glowing disc behind them, so these warm interruptions should support the little gathering without taking over the finished picture.

Working dimensions: 16 × 20 in (40 × 50 cm). Numbered acrylic pots and a brush set accompany the printed pattern. Pick an unframed, DIY-frame or ready-stretched version.

A Creative Project You Can Follow

Choose a design you enjoy and work through the printed guide at your own pace. Paint-by-numbers kits use numbered sections and matching paint colors; Dot Painting sets use printed circles and markers.

Artwork with a Personal Touch

Create the artwork yourself and enjoy the finished result as a display piece or a handmade gift. Calendars, mini sets and full-size canvases each offer a different way to paint and display your work.

Check this product’s description and available options for its size, number of pieces, materials and display format. Only the options listed on the product page apply to that item.

Photo Customization Is Available Separately

Uploading a photo and approving a preview apply only to products specifically sold as custom photo kits. Ready-made designs and calendars do not require a photo upload.

Your ready-made kit includes:

• Pre-printed numbered artwork featuring the design or set shown on this page
• Matching numbered acrylic paints
• Painting brushes

See this product’s description for canvas and accessory quantities. Size and framing are supplied according to the option selected on this page.

1. Choose Your Kit

Choose the design or set shown on this page and select from the available size and framing options.

2. Set Up Your Painting Space

Unpack your numbered artwork, paints and brushes on a stable surface with good lighting. For a multi-canvas set, choose one design to begin. An adult should help children prepare the workspace and identify the matching paint numbers.

3. Paint by Number

Match each numbered section to the corresponding paint color. Work section by section, rinse your brush between colors and close paint pots when not in use.

4. Let It Dry and Display

Allow the finished artwork to dry fully. Prepare it for display using a method suitable for your selected canvas and framing option.

Choose from the Listed Sizes

The available dimensions are shown in this product’s size selector and description. Your kit is supplied in the size and framing option you select.

Paint at Your Own Pace

Completion time depends on canvas size, design detail and painting pace. Plan as many sessions as you need, and allow the finished artwork to dry fully before display.
