PaintEasy presents this Paint by Numbers kit in the Home Decor - Animal series. 🦭🌈
This artwork features a cute baby seal riding along a curling rainbow wave, surrounded by white sea spray and bright reflections. The seal has soft cream-colored fur, round dark eyes, tiny whiskers, and a lifted front flipper that gives it a lively, playful expression. Behind it, the wave curves upward in layered bands of blue, turquoise, violet, pink, and yellow, creating a bold ocean scene with a fantasy-like splash of color ✨
Designed for Paint by Numbers for Kids and Family, this kit suits kids who enjoy cute sea animals, bright rainbow color palettes, and screen-free creative projects. The mix of ocean blue, pink, lavender, aqua, and sunny yellow works especially well in a kid’s room, study corner, playroom, family activity area, bedroom, or cheerful display space where animal wall art can add energy and fun.
During the painting process, the image builds from the large curling wave into the seal’s rounded body, soft fur shading, white foam splashes, and the rainbow bands running across the water 🎨. The numbered canvas helps guide each color area clearly, while the contrast between the broad wave sections and the smaller seal details gives young painters a satisfying sense of progress as the scene becomes brighter and more dynamic.
Once completed, this PaintEasy Paint by Numbers artwork can be displayed as wall art for home decor, kid’s room decor, a creative gift, or a personal display piece. The finished painting brings a joyful ocean mood to the space, with a baby seal, rainbow wave, foamy spray, and glossy reflections forming a playful animal scene 🖼️
Despite its bold appearance, this artwork is carefully designed to be accessible and satisfying for paint by numbers painters 🎨.
The canvas features:
Clear color separation within the rainbow wave
Large flowing sections that encourage smooth brush movement
A central character with simple, readable shapes
Painters often enjoy starting with the background wave, watching the rainbow slowly emerge section by section. This process feels playful and energizing rather than stressful. The seal itself is completed in fewer steps, providing a delightful focal point and a sense of emotional reward.
The color palette is vibrant yet balanced:
Cool blues and greens provide structure 🌊
Roses, purples, and yellows add excitement and joy
White accents create sparkle and depth
Painting this piece feels like riding the wave alongside the seal 🌈. The repeated curved shapes help establish a rhythm that keeps painters engaged, while the bright colors boost mood and motivation.

We believe a blank canvas shouldn’t be intimidating. At PaintEasy, we stripped away the friction but kept all the authenticity. There’s no need to worry about color theory or watering down your pigments—we’ve preserved the rich, raw texture of the paint so every stroke feels intentional. Just follow the numbers, trust your intuition, and let your space reflect an effortless aesthetic.
Some weekends call for loud music and crowded rooms; others call for a quiet corner and a brush in hand. PaintEasy is designed for the latter. We create kits that don’t just kill time, but elevate your space. Whether it's a single statement piece or building your own multi-piece collection, we make it impossibly easy to curate a gallery wall that looks exactly like you.
A satisfying painting starts with dependable materials and a clear numbered guide. PaintEasy kits use numbered acrylic paints and high-quality cotton canvas, helping beginners build the image one section at a time. Results vary by painting style and pace, so take your time and enjoy the process.
1 — Paint by Numbers Tips
Keep paint pots closed when not in use, rinse brushes between colors, and work from top to bottom if that helps prevent smudging. If the canvas has light transit creases, place it face down on a clean towel and carefully iron the reverse side on low heat without steam.
2 — How to Make Paint by Numbers More Realistic
Blend neighboring colors while the paint is slightly wet, add a second coat where printed numbers remain visible, and use small highlights or shadows only after the main areas are dry. Results vary with technique and painting style.
3 — Where to Start
Choose a design and size that match your available time. Each PaintEasy kit uses numbered acrylic paints and a high-quality cotton canvas. Framed options are stretched on a wooden frame.
4 — How to Store Your Kit
Close each paint pot firmly, clean and dry brushes after use, and keep the canvas flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.
5 — How Long Does It Take?
Completion time depends on canvas size, design detail, and painting pace. Short sessions over several days can make the project a calm, focused creative activity.
