Diagonal floorboards draw the eye back toward the figure. This Vigilance Dialogue paint by numbers adaptation is a choice for an adult drawn to unusual anatomy, visual tension and shape-led composition.

The source is identified as Ala Bashir's Vigilance Dialogue, 1993. Your purchase is a kit for making the independently adapted image, rather than an original painting by the artist. Choose it for the experience of working through its strange structure and deciding where you want that arresting image to live.

Would you enjoy painting the repeated bands?

Broad emerald and cream shapes provide longer fills, while the hands, feet and alternating stripes need close control. The moderate-detail layout suits someone who likes geometric rhythm within a figurative subject. It rewards patience at boundaries more than fast coverage.

Prepare a place for the green room

Numbered acrylic colors and brushes accompany the 40 × 50 cm canvas, around 16 × 20 inches.
